Refund and Returns Policy
Thank you for shopping with Kalchatti Craft. We take great care in crafting and packaging our soapstone cookware. Due to the handmade and fragile nature of our products, our return and refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent.
1. Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns only under the following conditions:

- Product received is damaged during transit
- Wrong product delivered
- Missing items in the order
❌ Not Eligible for Returns
- Minor variations in color, texture, or shape (natural in handmade soapstone products)
- Change of mind after delivery
- Improper usage or damage after delivery
- Normal wear and tear
2. Return Request Process
To request a return:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Share clear photos/videos of:
- The product
- Packaging
- Invoice (if available)
3. Approval of Returns
- Our team will review your request within 1–2 business days
- If approved, we will:
- Arrange a pickup or
- Request you to ship the product back (reimbursement may apply)
4. Refund Policy
Refunds are processed under the following conditions:
✔ Full Refund
- Product damaged in transit
- Incorrect product delivered
✔ Partial Refund (if applicable)
- Minor damage or issue agreed upon by customer
💳 Refund Method
- Refund will be issued to the original payment method
- Processing time: 5–7 business days after approval
5. Replacement Policy
Instead of a refund, you may opt for a replacement product, subject to availability.
6. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return/refund:
- Used products
- Products without original packaging
- Products damaged due to improper handling
- Customized or made-to-order items
7. Important Note on Soapstone Cookware
Soapstone (Kalchatti) cookware is:
- A natural material with inherent variations
- Sensitive to sudden temperature changes
- Requires proper seasoning before use
Cracks or damage due to:
- Direct high flame
- Sudden heating/cooling
- Improper seasoning
will not be covered under return/refund.
8. Cancellation Policy
- Orders can be cancelled before dispatch only
- Once shipped, cancellation is not allowed
9. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund:
- Check your bank account again
- Contact your payment provider
- If still unresolved, contact us
